Every so often, a genius little partnership between Target and a high end fashion label is set into motion, prompting anticipatory countdowns, overwhelming media coverage, careful planning, and long lineups.  From Prabal Gurung [January 2013] to Missoni [August 2011], we of the fashion-conscious masses plan our seasonal shopping lists and strategies around the idea of scoring these coveted designer-duds-for-less.
On May 22, Target announced that it has paired with Joseph Altuzarra to create a sensual and ultra-feminine collection for Fall 2014.  No stranger to collaborations with the big box retailer, having been part of the CFDA/Neiman Marcus/Target Holiday lineup in 2012, Altuzarra has already lent his talents to a set of tumbler glasses, a shaker, and bar tray.

Coming to Target stores in the United States and Canada, Target.com, and NET-A-PORTER.COM this September, the limited edition collection will consist of “nearly 50 pieces, ranging in price from $17.99 to $89.99” (abullseyeview.com).  Altuzarra’s ready-to-wear clothing, lingerie, shoes, and accessories will surely constitute every woman’s must-haves for the next cold weather season.
