Fashion & Brews; a Benefit for Fibromyalgia Awareness

Matrix’s Spread the Love hair stylists are traveling America on a goodwill tour and will stop in Warren, Mi to style models for “Fashion & Brews the Benefit” for fibromyalgia awareness on April 10, 2013.  The event will take place at the Falling Down Beer Company located at 2270 10 Mile Rd from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.  Spread the Love, the American Idol for hairdressers will have  stylists on hand showcasing innovative looks they have learned from Matrix’s top artistic directors. Roseville based Be Global Hair Nail Skin Studio, an event co-founder, also will be styling the models who will be wearing on trend spring looks from upscale retailer the Buckle. Approximately 10 million Americans, or 2-4% of the population, are challenged by fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder that can be disabling. People with fibromyalgia currently wait on average 5 years for a diagnosis.

“Fashion & Brews” will benefit the Fibromyalgia Association of Michigan, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for people affected by fibromyalgia in Michigan. Tickets are $20 and include appetizers and sodas. The cash bar features Falling Down Beer Company’s uniquely crafted beers including Ninja Chicken Pale Ale and Muscovado Stout. Take part in the 50/50 and food & fashion raffle. Advanced ticket purchase recommended. More information including ticket sales are available online at Mifibromyalgia.org or you can call 248-885-4673.
