Shannon Lazovski

Shannon Lazovski, owner of SoGlam Media,  is the founder of Detroit Fashion News. As one of Detroit’s top fashion bloggers, she knows the ins and outs of how women should dress and look, for every occasion. She has a degree in Psychology and extensive experience in runway modeling, promotional modeling, beauty pageants and swimsuit competitions. She understands the importance of knowledge behind fashion & beauty and how the two subjects impact a woman’s self confidence and self image.

Shannon is a member of Detroit’s chapter of Fashion Group International, blogs for the Detroit News Mich Moms blog and is founder of Detroit Mom Bloggers connecting Mom bloggers with brands through social media campaigns and ambassador programs. Her fashion advice has been shared on several Detroit publications. Shannon has been featured on Fox 2 Detroit and styled the “Hot Moms” segment with style Editor Jon Jordan for WDIV Channel 4 Detroit regarding appropriate vs. inappropriate dress for moms. Shannon was born and raised in Metro Detroit and was awarded the “Face to Watch” award by Detroit Faces* in 2010.
